Launches Collection of Custom Bedding
and Window Treatment Designs

When twin sisters Amy Ericson and Sara Sadraie
could not find quality and appealing bedding and window
treatments for their new homes to suit their tastes; they took
matters into their own hands and created their own designs. One
design led to a collection of designs and the launch of their
new Web based company Classic Elegance Home Décor. “We can’t
believe how what started out as simple projects for our homes
has evolved into a business,” said Sara Sadraie, marketing
director for Classic Elegance Home Décor.
Classic Elegance Home Décor provides in-home consultations to
residents in Southern California – Ventura County and West Los
Angeles County only. “During an in-home visit, we conduct an
interview with the client to capture exactly what their vision
includes, and provide fabric samples and various samples of
window treatment concepts. Once the client makes a |

decision on fabric and style, we present them with a rendering of
the treatment and what the room will look like in the final stage,” said
Ms. Ericson. “We only use professional installers and we personally
oversee every installation.” Residents outside of the Southern
California target area may purchase custom bedding online at Classic
Elegance Home Décor’s Web site at

The completion time for a Classic Elegance Home Décor custom bedding and
window treatment is approximately four to six weeks. The company held
extensive interviews with several workrooms, before selecting two of the
best in Southern California to produce their custom designs. “We
actually had several workrooms audition and we personally inspected
their work for flaws before making our final decision,” said Ms. Sadraie.
The Classic Elegance Home Décor Web site features a collection of 19
designs of custom bedding – all fully reversible; and coordinating
window treatments. In addition, customers may select matching bedding
accessories, such as pillows, seat cushions, bay window seats, and even
shower curtains. Hundreds of fabric samples are available; all very high
quality fabrics ranging from silk to wool to linens and cotton, tapestry
and more.
Amy Ericson serves as principal designer for the company and created the
collection of designs for the Web site. “I have enjoyed creating this
collection. I especially enjoy working with various types of fabrics. I
began sewing when I was fifteen and I have to thank my mother and
grandmother, both seamstresses, for getting me hooked. There’s not much
I can’t do with a piece of fabric,” said Ms. Ericson.
Classic Elegance Home Décor offers clients a personal touch with every
project. The company’s promise is simple – Get the Job Done Right the
First Time. “We pride ourselves on attention to detail and listening
carefully to our clients needs,” said Ms. Sadraie. “Amy and I work well
together with our clients and in many cases we develop long term
relationships.”
Currently, the company only serves residential clients; ultimately,
owners Sara and Amy hope to sell their designs to the bedding and window
treatment trade industry; interior designers and high end furniture
outlets.
